OrthoSC Welcomes Dr. Max Gehrman & Dr. Joshua Gore on Sept. 1
OrthoSC, the region’s most preferred orthopedic practice, will grow its team by welcoming two new doctors on Sept. 1. OrthoSC’s newest providers are sports medicine surgeon Max D. Gehrman, M.D., and pain management specialist Joshua R. Gore, M.D. Both doctors are available to see patients at the practice’s newest office, located at 1621 Highway 17 North in North Myrtle Beach. Both new OrthoSC specialists have advanced expertise: Dr. Gehrman is a fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon, and Dr. Gore is a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in pain management. Offering upper and lower extremity joint care, including minimally invasive surgical options and sports-related injury assessment and treatment, Dr. Gehrman specializes in comprehensive sports medicine care. Also experienced in his field, Dr. Gore is a nonsurgical physician specializing in pain management. His expertise includes injection and neuromodulation therapy as well as nerve blocks and interventional spine care.

Dr. Gehrman earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. He then completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Gehrman finished his training after completing his sports medicine fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Dr. Gore earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. There, he went on to complete his anesthesiology residency at University of Oklahoma Medical Center. Dr. Gore is also certified by The American Board of Anesthesiology.
