OrthoSC Hosting Supply Drive for Domestic Abuse Survivors & Ribbon-Cutting for Market Common
OrthoSC, the region’s most preferred orthopedic practice, will host a supply drive for domestic violence survivors now through Jan. 21. OrthoSC will present donations to Family Justice Center of Georgetown & Horry Counties during the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for OrthoSC’s new Market Common clinic on Jan. 22 from 3 to 4 p.m. at 3620 Walton Drive. Masks and social distancing will be observed for the event, and practice staff, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and invited media will be in attendance. Area residents seeking orthopedic care or wanting to contribute donations for the community cause are encouraged to call (843) 353-3460 to learn more.
Area residents can drop off donations for the supply drive to a site manager until Jan. 21 at all OrthoSC clinic locations: in Conway at 2376 Cypress Circle, Suite 300; in Murrells Inlet at 3545 Frontage Road, Suite 200; in Myrtle Beach at 210 Village Center Blvd., Suite 200; as well as at their Market Common clinic at 3620 Walton Drive, Unit C-5.
The supply drive at OrthoSC will serve to support domestic violence survivors as they establish and maintain independent lives in providing for their families and rebuilding a safe home. Needed items for Family Justice Center of Georgetown & Horry Counties include:
- Nonperishable foods.
- Toiletries, toilet paper and tissues.
- First aid and medical supplies.
- New bedding, pillows and towels.
- Kitchenware.
- Household cleaning products.
- Local merchant gift cards.

The Market Common clinic provides highly specialized, full-service musculoskeletal care and consultation five days a week. The new office also offers on-site physical therapy services. Providers are available to see patients in Market Common Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
