Time Off
How much paid time off will I receive?
OrthoSC recognizes the importance of time off from work, and we encourage each team member to take the allotted PTO time each year; it contributes to better productivity and happier team members. PTO can be used for vacation, emergencies, illnesses, and personal time. The accrual rate, which corresponds to the total days allowed, is shown below.
All full-time team members are awarded PTO. Part-time and PRN team members are not eligible for PTO.
Eligible team members are awarded PTO on an accrual basis based on years of service. PTO will accrue during your probationary period for new team members; however, it will not be available for use until after the probationary period has been completed. A maximum of 80 unused accrued hours will be allowed to be carried forward into the new year.
Years of service are calculated based on the date of hire.
Years of Service | Accrual | Award and Maximum earned in one year |
---|---|---|
Hire date – 1 year | 3.69 per pay period | 96 hours a year (12 days) |
1–4 years | 4.62 per pay period | 120 hours a year (15 days) |
5–9 years | 6.15 per pay period | 160 hours a year (20 days) |
10–14 years | 7.69 per pay period | 200 hours a year (25 days) |
15 years | 9.23 per pay period | 240 hours a year (30 days) |
How can I see how much paid time off I have accrued?
You can view your available PTO hours in Paycom under “Time-Off Requests” → “Accruals.”
How do I request paid time off?
All team members are required to log into Paycom to request their PTO time under “Time-Off Requests” → “Request Time Off.” Your supervisor will receive an automated email and can approve the time off request online.
