I broke my right fibula April 4, 2017 playing football with some friends. After my first consultation with my family care physician, I was told I may need surgery. An x-ray by Dr. Evans revealed this to be true, as there was ligament damage in my ankle. After less than a week in a splint, I was taken to Grand Strand Medical Center for surgery. I was able to leave the hospital the same day with minimal pain. After a few weeks, I was out of the splint and stitches, and into a walking boot. I was up and walking only 6 weeks after surgery, all thanks to Dr. Evans. Today, 8 months later, I have full range of motion and zero pain. Thank you Dr. Evans!
