Upon review of a few specialists, I chose Dr. Mikol, and I wasn't disappointed. Dr. Mikol was very thorough and treated me like I was an athlete, not a senior woman. My recovery was 100 percent and other than the scar (which isn't very noticeable) my shoulder replacement was a total success and I'm back to all my physical activities and the gym. More importantly, I can pick up and play with my three new great-grandchildren. I'm hoping not to have to see him again, but, if needed he would be my only call!! I might add, his office staff and assistants and surgical staff were exceptional as well.”

  • “I have been getting shots in both my shoulders for a few years now. I was told from the beginning that there was a good chance that at least one shoulder would eventually require surgery. My left shoulder has been deteriorating to the point that this last time the shot has not been as effective as it has been. The next step is an MRI to see what exactly is going on at this point. Once Dr. Mikol has the results, we will discuss what steps can/should be taken. I like the fact that the decision will be based on the most up to date facts available.”
